The event will be held at Lee Valley VeloPark, Abercrombie Road, London, E20 3AB. Full details regarding location can be found here.
The event will begin at 10am. We will not be able to grant access until this time. The event will end at 4pm.
Your ticket will include unlimited cycling from 10am-4pm, a Cycling Electric goody bag worth £25 and advice from our e-bike experts.
All cyclists must be over the age of 16 to test bikes and gain access to the tracks. Anyone under the age of 16 who wishes to attend can do so under a spectator pass and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Helmet
A cycling-specific helmet is compulsory for riding on the track.
Pedals
You will not need to bring pedals to the event as they will be provided with the bikes.
Riding clothes- bring appropriate gear for the track
Please wear comfortable casual clothing
Clothes for off the track
A jacket or hoodie will help keep you warm when you're not riding.
Change of clothing, towel, wash kit
If you wish to shower at the end of the day there are facilities. If you are travelling to the venue on your bike, don't forget to bring a suitable lock for the storage units. You will not be permitted to ride your bike on track.
Your ticket
This will be attached to your confirmation email when you book, it will include a QR code which will be scanned upon arrival. This can either be printed or presented on your phone or tablet.
You will receive your tickets attached to your confirmation email. You may either print them or display on your mobile at the registration desk on the day of the event.
Yes, spectators can attend the event. You will need to register each spectator at the checkout. The tickets are free of charge. They only include entry to the event, a goody bag is not included.
Yes, The Calzone Kitchen will be on site. There will be a full menu of calzones and hot salads, cold and hot drinks to purchase.
The VeloPark has a car park but there are limited spaces available.
The Cycling Electric Demo Day is a fantastic opportunities to test and compare some of the best electric bikes on the market, meaning that the track is reserved for bikes provided by our sponsors only. The storage of your own bike will be your own responsibility.
Bikes cannot be reserved ahead of the event. We will make every effort to ensure that everyone gets to ride as many of these bikes as possible over the course of the day, but please note we cannot guarantee the availability of any bike. All bikes will be booked on a first come first served basis. Only one bike can be taken out at a time. We recommend testing the bike for no longer than 20 minutes.
